This season, interiors are seeing some very distinctive trends. Deep, rich colours are on trend with royal purple, cobalt blue and (if you can imagine the colours of a sari) earthy, intense colours of terracotta, greys and brick red.
Also consider bold, patterned prints - geometrical, paisley, graphical - the bigger and bolder the better! But remember to keep your patterned items to one focal point - one wall, one piece of furniture or a rug to really bring your eye to the piece.
Another important trend this season is exaggerated scale. Pick a huge mirror, over-sized furniture, or an enormous headboard. Bean bags are a great way to create a statement piece as they are big, bold and often can become a central part of a living room. Pick siren-red Bazaar Bag or a deep blue or terracotta XL cotton bean bag to really make a statement for this season.
